Time out

Every moment subtly reminds me:
"Your time is running out".
The screech of the morning alarm.
The wail of the siren.
The hands of the watch,
the clock, the time-piece
the newspapers
the newsmakers
the heartbeats,
mine and next to mine

Racing pulses
turning fan-blades
foreplay, play and afterplay
run
ning
out.

Everyone's time is running out. Most people don't value their time. But you value yours and therefore are noticing it... Good for you... You will live every minute of it...

Something like Pink Floyd's 'TIME'.
Still remember the first line.
"Ticking away the moments that make a dull day..."
A deliberate move, unlike yours.
But, feels good.

"What you are is God's gift to you. What you become is your gift to God !"- My school principal's farewell message to our batch of XI std students in 1973.

In the fragile, hazy existence of ours, hope we can make a decent gift of ourselves !

I have learnt so much from you, my friend !!!

What Am I, yes, sometime all the roses would shut and be buds. That's when we see ourselves fully.

CK,some of us also become gifts to others... like you!

Like an old friend said, "Time you old Gypsy-man, why don't you stay? Hitch up your caravan, just for one day?"
