Which one will she favour today?
Blue, red and with polka dots?
Metallic grey, with frayed straps,
and smooth around the edges?
Lacy and white, like two prayer caps?
Pointed, envious, sun-blanched twins,
like Everest and Annapurna?
Blue, giving way, like old tea strainers?
Looking at the clothesline,
my cup runneth over.
